Site assessment
We are experienced in a wide range of techniques designed to identify improvements that can be made to existing software, web site and applications.
Usability testing
An interface with good usability will be easy to understand, will allow users to perform tasks quickly and effectively and be relatively error free. One of the most effective way to identify usability issues is to test it using members of the target audience performing tasks they would naturally perform. Through a combination of direct observation and post task interviews we are experienced in identifying issues and providing detailed recommendations.
Expert review
Expert review of a site or piece of software is a quick and cost effective way to identify improvements. The interface is evaluated against various usability heuristics and detailed recommendations produced.
Site feedback
Focus groups, questionnaires and online surveys can reveal insights into users’ attitudes towards an interface, its use and their requirements. This type of research is generally poor at identifying usability issues. However, they work well when investigating user reactions to the interface and design.
